Because usually u really can't. People have to earn ur trust. I had this new girl come to my school. She was like my bff. But then...she turned on me. She told my crush I liked him and said how I was, but really wasn't, clumsy stupid a dork and always have cheated on tests. She told the WHOLE SCHOOL!!! I had no friends so then I was just alone. But then 2 girls and their friends came and took me out of my misery and helped me find happiness. I still thank the 2 only ppl I trusted in my old school Kayla and Antoinette. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO U!!!!!!NEVER TRUST THESE PPL!!!!

You have to trust people. Finding those that you truly do in life is such a rarity. But if one has the attitude that you can never trust people you will never find those you can. Yes you have to take chances and will be disappointed along the way but eventually you will find those that throughout time one can truly...... count as a friend. I am 43. I have had friends that were so at different stages of life but people change as their priorities change. I have people who I consider a friend on a certain level. But I have only one who through the years has been tried and true and that I would completely trust my life to.
Appreciate those who are in your life and what they bring to it. If you are open and happy (and keep your eyes open) you will always find a friend. Always assuming people are not to be trusted is not the way to go.

Most people are just out for number one...themselves. I joined a volunteer organization - people who volunteer care about helping others, and those are generally more trustworthy. Unfortunately, trust is hard to give and earn these days.

I know the feeling. just yesterday i trusted someone that i knew for years, and she did some underhanded shady stuff. I was purchasing something from a friend of hers and it appears that she lied about the price to get a profit. with the slip of a tongue i caught her and i might bring it up. but i deleted her phone numbers and i am moving on. she is kind of a peasant. i am better than her. she can stick with the lowlives.

Cause they are back stabbers. I have only one friend i can confide in. People you think who are trust worthy arent. So just keep your mouth shut and thoughts to yourself. They more than likely would love nothing better to do than destroy your life. Look out for yourself.
