I had a traditional church wedding and both my bridesmaids and I walked to Pachabel's Canon in D. The girls went in first, and then I entered at the beginning of the second movement.
My sister got married in our parent's garden. Since it was an outdoor wedding and a little more whimsical, she used IZ (he's a Hawaiian singer) medley of Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World. The bridesmaids walked at the during Somewhere and she entered to Wonderful World. It was very sweet. You've heard the song before, you just may not be aware of it. It's used in a lot of commercials. The music is a ukele.

We had Mendelson's wedding march play at my first wedding (it was a more or less traditional ceremony); the second time, I got married in Vegas, there was no music; and the third time it was "The Pirate's Bride" (we had a pirate-themed wedding).

My husband and I walked down the aisle together, to a traditional Ukrainian Catholic hymn, instrumental, played on a bandura.

Canon in D. There are countless versions of this song, and you're sure to have heard it. I found the guitar version we used on iTunes... we played all our wedding and reception music from my iPod, too!
