Well I have to say that I thought my cat is the only one that did this...ha ha. He is a one year old black cat and he loves the toilet paper roll...if he gets a hold of one he just rips it to shreds. Amazing what cats find to play with huh? Anyway my advice to you is try to put his focus on other things....cat toys, scratching posts, cat nip toys, balls, etc. If he is a kitten really he is just looking for a way to get rid of his energy. Also try to make sure that you keep the toilet paper out of his reach as much as possible, maybe keeping the door to the bathroom shut and putting the extra up higher where hopefully he won't climb to it . Oh and let me know if you find something else that works...as my cat still does it if he can get a hold of a roll, but I still love him. :)

Toilet Paper (from the link below)
Five ways to prevent cats from playing with toilet paper:
Hang the roll so that the paper hangs down between the roll and the wall rather than over the top of the roll.
If the cat knows how to roll it either way, then you can get a cover that rests on top of the toilet paper and this will work. You can make your own by taking the cardboard core from an empty roll and slitting it lengthwise and fitting it over the roll.
You can balance a small paper cup full of water on top of the roll.
Instead of a cup of water, try an aluminum can with pennies.
If you are unwilling or unable to use the cover, then close the door to the bathroom.
Don't worry - he will eventually grow out of this habit. I've had cats all my life, and the cats always stopped when they got a little older. It helps to make sure that your kitten has lots of things he is allowed to play with to keep him entertained - especially a cat tree. If you don't have one, ask your parents if they will buy or build one for the kitten.

Keep a water bottle handy and spray the heck out of it when you catch it messing with the toilet paper. Most cats hate water and will start to realize that the next time they get into something, they will get sprayed again.

I just keep the door closed most of the time, I think they eventually grow out of it. My cat used to do this all the time too, but even if there is any paper laying around he sneaks it away to wherever he feels its safe and chews it to bits. Or if I leave my phonebook open it chews that up too. He is worse than my dog sometimes.

Oh, kittens and cats...what wonderful animals!
Some cats, like mine did, will grow out of it. Otherwise, keep the bathroom door shut or use the spray bottle method. Cats also don't like loud noises, so clapping or snapping when they do it can help.
Give her something she's allowed to play with to distract her. Although there are a lot of cat toys out there, our cat seems to prefer "non-toy" items: string, boxes, paper balls, balls of foil (shiny!).

Torn bathroom paper is hardly a reason to get rid of a cat. you're literally the "determine". you are able to ought to coach your boyfriend to maintain the door close, or get rid of the roll from the holder and positioned it someplace else. The cat's basically playing. this is like having a baby - in very virtually all options! examine in there periodically to work out if the door is open and, in case you seize her, make her supply up, and tell her "no", and be consistent about it.
