It's usually "wild oats". It is a euphemism for casual sexual activity before one takes on the mature responsibilities of married life. It can be stretched to include any immature, irresponsible behavior.

It's "sow", meaning to plant seeds.

Sow "wild oats"--plant wild seeds. Seeds, like, y'know, SEEDS? Sperms?

You scatter your seeds around, as a way of getting those ho-in' around tendencies out of your system.
