i know one month isn't a HUGE thing. but it is something. WE are young. I'm only 14, and he's 16. And sex is not one of the things I'm going to get him.

Actually he's not tying to get in my pants. I know that for the most part that is all that guys think about. But he is a virgin, By choice. He is waiting till marriage, not becasue is parents said he should, becasue they could care less, but becasue he wants to make sure he is imn love and that he wats ot be with that person for the rest of his life. Oh, and my dad is dead, so that's kind of hard to get him stuff.

well first off I have no idea how old you guys, but a couple of ideas (now this is where the age appropriateness comes in) would be a nice watch, or to light candles and make him a romantic dinner. If you're a little younger or are just looking for a small present get him a t-shirt of his favorite band or something like that. One thing also that works for all ages and budgets is get two mugs, a box (or can, depending on how you get it) of hot cocoa and a good movie. If you want something more elaborate, throw in a blanket, or fixings for lunch or a game and other things you might want to do during a day together. He'll melt at the thoughtfullness.

Why is a 16yr. old going out w/a 14 yr. old? You are way too young! Where is your Dad? Give your Dad a gift and stop worrying about a one month anniversary w/a 16 yr. old - if you stick to what you say about not having sex, he'll drop you anyway. He is a young boy and all he thinks about is getting into your pants - it's true! Stay pure, save it all for your husband someday and don't worry about going out - just have fun w/your friends! Where is your Dad????

for the 1st month... don't go blowing ur money on this guy. start off small and work ur way up in time. Honestly I never gave anything for the month anneversaries but I'd always get a teddy bear or @ least a beenie baby every month. it's sweet, & doesnt' grow old. I know I always loved it. It's the way u surprise him with it that really gives it the special touch. put it in his locker if u know his combination, or desk (whichever applies). & put just a little bit of perfum.

good luck

It´s been my experience that guys like practical gifts. How about taking him out to a good steak dinner? Maybe 2 tickets to the next game of his favorite team? Guys also like to brag to their buddys..so maybe a gift certificate for bungee jumping or sky diving?
Just remember..no flowers or clothes!

I would just acknowledge that it has been a month since you started dating. I do not think you need to get a gift he could be gone next week. Maybe just take him out a date with you paying.

For one month, I can't remember a single girl giving me anything that I was really hoping for, unless it involved something of an adult nature.

Guys tend to not be into presents.

Well... I've given my boyfriend chocolate but not just any chocolate, one of those nicely wrapped brand kind that come in a nice and neat box. Maybe that could work for you too?

Let me know what you end up getting him and I hope that whatever you get him he really likes it!

ok these people are insane - you two have only been together for a month. I would say get him a CD or take him to his favorite rest. or make him his favorite meal.

Don't do jewelery - it is way to soon you are going to freak him out if you do that. Keep it simple.

One that'll remind him of you, and be useful to him too, is a Swiss Army Knife. Below is a link to a photo of one, with description.
