DVD Shrink can't find Nero?

Question

I'm trying to use DVD Shrink, but when I go to burn a DVD, I get the message "To enable burning, please install Nero". I have Nero 7.5.9.0 installed, but DVD Shrink can't find it. Any ideas?

I use Nero 7.5.9.0 with DVD shrink & have no issues.
Try uninstalling & reinstalling DVD Shrink.

When I upgraded to the latest Nero I used the Nero clean tool to make sure all traces of the older version were removed. If you upgraded & did not do this it may have left some invalid paths in your registry.

If all else fails remove Nero with this tool :

Reinstall Nero & then reinstall DVD Shrink.

It might be looking for an older version of Nero than the one you have. See if it calls out for a specific version of Nero. Also, did you install Nero to its default directory? This might have been fixed in a newer version of DVD Shrink, but I don't remember when the last new revision of that came out. Seriously, I know it doesn't help, but you may just have to get used to running DVD Shrink then Nero on their own, rather than together.

not sure. but why not use dvd shrink and dump it (backup) to your hard drive then when done close it down and then open nero, find were shrink dumped it and copy it to disk from there.

why use nero to burn i use dvd decrypter it runs off dvd shrink its free to down load and when setting up shrink change it to dvd decrypter as burning programme
