think about stuff the guy would be interested about.
boost up your confindence and get to know him. just try since you never know.
some of my friends just try to flirt with their crush but it doesn't seem to work so well so DON'T try that yet. good luck! :D

you should talk to him and be his real best friend then you stay away from him for couple of day.Don't talk to him or answer his call or any thing.Until the day come he will tell you how his feeling without you and when you stay away from him. This idea may take all of time be it work. So good luck
