I tasted some diet onion rings that were made using a recipe by www.hungry-girl.com and they were actually pretty good considering but they could use a little more flavor. Any seasoning suggestions to add a little umph?

I took a look at that recipe. It would appear to be bland because there needs to be some type of salt. Try adding seasoned salt, such as Lawry's Seasoned Salt, to your bread crumbs or Fiber One. That should help give the flavor some more flavor. If you don't have seasoned salt, try some salt and fresh cracked pepper in the breading. Adding any of the suggested ingredients shouldn't up the calories as well. Hope that helps!

I use garlic salt, cayanne pepper and black pepper. Works great :)
