i mean like, why are gay guys so scared of the "nice ones." it seems like they just want a jerk and are scared off by a geninuly nice person. i just need some tips on how to act on dates and how a gay guys mind works on dates.....if thats definable.

Set the bar high.
Don't lower your expectations and don't settle.
Be confident and open to meeting new people anytime.

Same rules as with straight people. Figure out what you want. Figure out what you do not want. then hold all prospective BFs up to this definition. Compromise where you are willing to and holdfast to the areas you will not compromise in.
