Even if the puppies' father has a narrower face, the puppies may still inherit their mother's wide head, which frequently causes problems in delivery. English Bulldogs often require C-sections to have puppies. But why would you want to breed mixed breed dogs? There are already far too many unwanted dogs already available in shelters.

Is your dog show quality? If a male of another breed got to her & bred with her just recently, unless she's a prizewinning dog that you plan to breed in the future, you may want to talk to the vet about getting her spayed ASAP.

English bulldogs can easily die during birthing. They usually have enough trouble just breeding. Any responsible breeder will normally use a breeding bench or artificial insemination as the female is so small in the back end that in normal breeding, she can easily collapse and compromise the male. The births are usually done c-section and usually produce small litters. The general rule is only breed if you show. You need at least a five generation pedigree and health checks for breed specific problems. With bulldogs, they are too numerous to mention here. If you are not breeding to show, I advise getting her spayed as they are also very prone to pyometria which is deadly in itself.

Bulldogs can not have puppies naturally. It doesn't matter what breed they are mixed with. They will still have the big heads and broad shoulders. You need to plan a c-section now. Don't try to let her whelp them. Your bulldog shouldn't have been bred with a different breed anyways. Get her spayed

I hope that you are not asking this question because you bred this dog to another one of a different breed! If you think about the genetics, you could get some bulldog type's in the litter. So, you would need to ask your vet about this, but I would suggest to watch this dog closely and if your vet reccommends a c-section, then do it!

technically your dog could die giving birth to even the same breed theyare problematic birthers!!!! what you are asking depends as much on the individual health of the dog as anything, if you are talking about the sheer size of the puppy again yes it could happen but unless it is something like a mastiff, great dane, wolfhound , deer hound or another giant breed then you are most likely ok as far as ADDITONAL chances are conserned but no birth should be consitered a definate thing for that breed..

again there is no point in breeding unless you plan on doing something for the integrity of the breed though.... be a responsable owner and weight all decisions for you pet first and if you do not think you are qualified (and by asking theis question I would say you are prob not) to be a breeder or have vet or another breeder helping you and your dog would not contribute to the integrity of her breed then it is best all around to consiter spaying her, you will lower chance of overian cancer for her and make her a happier pet for you.

Ok judging from your other questions it is apperent you think your not even full grown german sheppard has bred her, if this is the case you need to spay AND neuter both of them as you are obviously not interested in preserving either breeds intergrity. It is also clear that no matter how many answers you get and what they are they you are going to keep asking over and over again since this is the 3rd time yo have asked this question.. do everyone a favor and be a more responsable pet owner and GO TO UR VET AND GET THEM FIXED as yo are not qualified to even think about breeding animals.

(I appologize to anyone else who found that rude but this is rediculous and someone obviously needed to say it)

Yes she could die. English Bulldogs need c-sections, not just because the puppies have large heads but because they have small pelvis. Anything is possible, but I wouldn't want to wait until I was in an emergency situation.

If you are planning to breed your english bull dog then I would start saving now because 80% of their births result in a C-Section. They are the most difficult breed to whelp and normaly have complications.

Did you think the answer would change since you asked this 2 weeks ago?! Don't be ignorant, and don't do it just because you want to. Put the dog's wellbeing first.

Yes. You need to consult with your vet and plan for a c-section.
