I really want to see how other people feel about this issue. Most people from church don't think that you should date anyone that don't attend church. How do u feel?

I go to church and I've thought about this alot too. I feel that if he is a good guy and I know that he will respect me and my decisions then why not? Plus on Sundays he can come to church with you since he dosen't go anywhere. Just be careful & make sure that you keep your relationship with Christ 1st. Good luck :)

That depends on their intentions, but from personal experience, religion supersedes all else. Once you've been drawn in to a relationship the only way to pursue something more serious is to be a part of their religion, as for most dedicated church goers it's usually not condoned to date someone outside the religion. I learned a tough lesson because I refused to become someone I'm not in order to be with someone I cared a great deal about.

It would be pointless, because sooner or later one of the people would make church (or the lack of it) an issue and break up. There would be a great temptation for the churchgoer to "save" or "change " the nonchurchgoer for "their own good". It just wouldn't work....

I don't think Christians should date non-Christians. There's a lot of Christians who don't attend church regularly. But dating a non-believer will lead to a lot of conflict. How can you connect spiritually with a non Christian? You can't!!!! It's impossible!! (2 Cor. 4:16).

I feel that if you love someone or just have feelings for that matter, it shouldn't matter about anything...they're religion, race, background, etc. i mean, isn't that what god is about? love and acceptance? so why should we judge someone because they don't go to church?
