Freez what ever leftovers you have and then you will have some for next time. Yes you can freeze cooked noodles all you have to do to reheat them is pop them in boiling water for 1 min to heat.

I just always eyeball it....but when I add them together I don't add it all at once. If you're mixing the Ragu sauce with the noodles then add them little by little in a seperate dish so you have the amount you like with both the sauce and noodles.
And if you end up with left over noodles then just use them the next day for lunch. If you have no more sauce left then you can always mix the spag noodles with eggs and bacon the next day. Just cut the noodles up into smalle pieces when it's cold. (Easier to cut). Might not sound tasty but trust me it's really good!
If you have a lot of noodles left then you can just freeze them in a freezable sandwich baggie and just pop them into boiling water to defrost. Not for long though, just enough to heat it through.
If you have left over sauce, then why not cook a different past the next day. Add some red peppers, mushrooms to give a different taste. I like using penne or boe tie for that.

This is a question that honestly begs another question...How do YOU like your pasta? If you don't like a lot of sauce, use less. Need more filling? Use more meat, or consider adding fresh chopped tomatoes and mushrooms, along with some fresh herbs.
Something you might take into consideration is the type of pasta you're using. If you go to the grocer, you'll notice there are alllll kinds of shapes for pasta. They are made for different kinds of sauces, not just for decoration. Using a thick sauce? Try penne pasta! The tubes will fill up with the thicker stuff and carry more flavor to your mouth. Using a thin pesto sauce or just oil? Use your angel hair pasta to give it a nice, even coat.

You don't say how much pasta you have, but if you have a pound of pasta, I would use the next bigger size of Ragu and a full pound of ground beef. It depends on what people like though, some like more sauce than pasta, some like more pasta than sauce. I have never frozen cooked pasta but sauce freezes really well, and then you only have to boil your pasta next time and you have a really quick meal.
Another way to make it come out evenly is just to mix the sauce and the pasta together and serve it that way.
Good luck!

Depends how saucy u want ur spaghetti.
Generally, 1 cup noodles, 1/2 cup beef, 1/2 cup of sauce would do well unless u want it more moist.Try this ratio and add more sauce if u need. 5 oz sauce is OK i guess.

Barilla Pasta actually has the site below which gives some healthy guidelines.
http://www.barillaus.com/uploadedFiles/Barilla_AAFP_Brochure(1).pdf
It is personal preference how much meat or vegetables or sauce one uses. Some people like a lot of meat and sauce and some like the pasta lightly coated. I think the above site gives some good guidelines on how to keep it a healthy balance.

Well you could cook the spaghetti first, heat up the sauce seperatly.... then as you serve each plate pour directly into your plate onto your spaghettis as much as u need or want. If its just one or 2 people, u need a small pack of meat. Save what ever is left over from the sauce or throw it away.

Use your fingers to ration out the serving size for spaghetti.
finger to thumb 1 to 2 servings middle finger to thumb 3 to 4 servings. the sauce is OK to over do...you can always keep in refrigerated for another time. Sauce in the frig lasts a week or more. use what you need and save the rest.
