I am writting an article about psychic lineages and how it seems at times that it is a family trait. I'm looking for anyone out there that has opnion on this. Does it run in your family or are you the only psychic in yours?
If it does run in your family why do you believe it is so... do you have an opnion? I would love to hear

strangely enough i was not raised with my dad and knew very little about him and his new family until quite recently
he left when i was a baby and am now 37
turns out he along with my half sisters are psychic mediums and very interested in psychical research ( like myself )
i found this an amazing coincidence given that we lived apart

Yes, all mainly on the maternal side of the family. My grandmother had ways of just knowing when someone was going to be trouble or how to be prepared for any situation. My mother can see spirits as well as feel what they want to say to their departed loved ones. I'm more of a dream visualist, empathy & I can also tell when someone is a good person or a liar or not. I actually believe I have a strong sense of when something is off or if a psychic is a fraud or not. Big fan of John Edward & Sylvia Browne.
Both have actually helped me further explore my own abilities.

Yes, I think it does. My grandmother would tell me all the time how she knew things before anybody would tell her. She knew before the phone ever rang at her house who it was calling her. I am able to read auras. I've also been told by someone who didn't even know me that my family are bloodline witches. This person knew next to nothing about me, but I knew she had clairvoyant abilities. There's just so many things that science hasn't uncovered yet, and I think clairvoyant ability is one of them.
