i keep getting fluctuating body temperature. one minuite really hot and then really cold. i do not have flu or cold symptoms. i am 23 years old so it can't be the menopause. i am however anaemic. any ideas? thanks for all those who answered this question previously

Anemia can have a lot to do with it. Take some iron and consult your doc.

hot and cold flushes are the result of A changing value of estrogen.. here are some tips to help..

Avoiding spicy foods and caffeinated beverages and hot drinks can cut down on the number of hot flushes.
Drinking plenty of cold water also can combat hot flushes, especially if you sweat a lot.
Exercising and relexation will also reduce the number and intensity of hot flushes.
You should wear cotton clothing rather than synthetic fibres, as cotton absorbs more moisture. It's also adivisible to wear differnt layers of clothing so that you can taken clothes off as your temperature increases
Hot and spciy foods seem to worsen hot flushes, so try to avoid them.
When hot flushes appear try to cool down the body temperature with sprays or moits wipes or switch on an electric fan.

It's probably because you're anemic then. Or maybe a thyroid problem. I used to get freezing cold- shivering- even when it wasn't all that cold, and in the summer I'd nearly pass out from heat. I'm on thyroid medication and it went away within 1 week.

As much as I think talking problems out is good this kind of question could be best answered by a professional.

Maybe its the weather - its been really messed up the last few years and is getting more messed up. Prob not answering ur q but it could be one reason.

check your sugar. low or high sugar can be doing those changes.
