We didn't evolve from apes. The rest of your details don't make any sense.

From their ancestors. Why ask basic science questions in R&S?
Also, even if you're right about ceasar, etc - one of the Naked Gun movies had a scene featuring the queen of England. What was the purpose of mixing fictional and factual characters? Does it mean that the Naked Gun movies are real?

They mix factual and fictional characters and facts in the DaVinci Code. This is actually done in most fictional works, in order to create a more interesting background setting. This is the case in your bible as well. It's not something that should be taken at all seriously, like any other fairy tale book.

How far back do you want to go? Mammals evolved from mammal like reptiles which evolved from reptiles which evolved from reptile like amphibians and so on right back to simple genetic compounds in the primordial swamps of earth hundreds of millions of years ago.

I believe in creation and not in Macro-evolution. Evolution explains everything evolved from a reproducing molecule that was made in a pre-historic earth. The earth at the time had an atmosphere that would create amino acids, and the water became like an organic soup which composed the first reproducing molecule. Of course, there are many flaws to this theory, and many wholes in evolution that are still trying to be found, but still cannot be proven.

All mammals descended from a shrew-like creature. That includes apes, and people too, for that matter.

thats the thing, in genesis and in other books of the bible there is a clear cut geneology that goes back to Adam and Eve.
Scientist cannot prove this wrong.
although to most christians, the geneology is just there, but its actually very important.
with it we can trace our ancestors back to the first man and woman!!!!!
science doesnt even come close!
