Several people have said that the only argument is against illegal immigrants. Unfortunately, many posts about immigration to the UK have been about East Europeans legally coming here, and about asylum-seekers, who again are legally entitled to ask for asylum. There is also loads of whinging about Muslims supposedly trying to impose their religion on others.
So yes, I think there's a lot of hypocrisy in these discussions, some people think it's OK for Brits to go all over the world, never learning any other language, and taking whatever they can from the other countries, but if anyone comes here and asks to be treated like a human being, there's outrage!

I feel ridiculous dignifying this question with a response, but I will give its asker the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is an honest question and not just an opportunity to spout some venom.
The most obvious answer would be that the "whites" living in other parts of the world have entered legally and applied for residency, if not outright citizenship. Latin American, India, the Middle East, Africa... these countries don't have the permissive view of illegal immigration that we have. Penalties for breaking their immigration laws are swift and harsh.
Few people realize this, but Mexico has the same problems with immigration that we do. Hispanics from countries farther south sneak over their borders either en route to the US, or because Mexico has a better economy than many Central and South American nations. Because the violators are the same color and speak the same language, it's harder for them to spot the illegals. The reason it hasn't reached crisis level for Mexico is that they ENFORCE THEIR LAWS and do so strictly. If you're caught in Mexico without permission to be there, you go to prison, where you're usually made to work off the cost of shipping you back home.
So there's your answer: Anyone can live anywhere they want, provided they obey the laws of immigration. If you think it's not fair that Americans should be welcomed in other countries while immigrants here are scrutinized and often denied entry, perhaps you should research the cause instead of sulking about the effect.

Check on whether they came legally or illegally. Check and see whether their presence has caused those countries to worsen in their situation whether it be financially or politically. Are they insighting violence? Threatning to overthrow the government? Comming there to purify the evil doers? Sucking their health care dry? I mean if you're white and American or European......there just isn't anything we can do right is there? I bet if you check further there's alot of "whites" that are denied citizenship in these countries. Trust me.....I'm white and I can't just go to wherever I darn well please and live there. Especially poor white. You are a fool if you think there's a free ride for us or no standards to meet or that ALL whites get it. Please.........this is so boring to keep hearing how we got it all when the reality is we don't have it any better than anyone else.

You act as an ignorant when you associate beeing white with beeing from first world country (what about East Europe?) and not beeing white with beeing from a third world country (what about East Asia?). Anyway, there are millions of whites living in Latin America and Africa, but they are natives from those places, not immigrants from Europeans and North American (-Mexico) countries.

Are they living there legally? I have been to third world countries for work on many occasions but i did not do it the way the illegal immigrants do it here in the US. I followed the laws and entry regulations of the country I was a visitor in. That is what I hear most anti illegal supporters asking for and I think that is right.

The key word here is "retire" they aren't looking for jobs or to take away any public services. They are self supporting and don't cause anything but good to the country's the retire to.Your argument doesn't compute. If they were Illegal or if they were poor people looking for monetary benefits from that country I could see a connection. But not since they are simply self supporting people looking for a place that is a little more laid back and less expensive to live in.

Are these white illegal or did the apply for citizenship? See, that is the part you missed in the debate. The issues is not people from other countries living is the US or UK, its people illegally living in the US or UK. So quit stirring the pot and shut up.

We are not there illegally are we? We don't cause any crime issues do we? We boost your sales we don't boost your merchandise... You make money off of us, yet we lose money from the illegals...
