when she says that its kind of a way to make you feel better. but what she's saying is that you didn't do anything wrong her feelings for you just changed, she's no longer into you like that.

People change. I know that is one of the worst breakup lines to hear, but sometimes its the only one that's true. If she told you that, it means she changed- either what she thought she wanted in life or who she thought she was or her values and beliefs or some combination of the three changed, and she realized either you weren't in the equation anymore, or she just didn't feel the same way about you. It also means that nothing you did was wrong- you treated her fine, possibly great, and did absolutely nothing that drove her away. By the same token, though, nothing you change can bring her back.

Most people say this thinking that your feelings won't be hurt when they move on to someone else. They take the blame so you don't have to. Doesn't make it any better, it's just a line used to ease your pain about being left.

It means that is IS you and she just doesn't want to be up front with you or is trying not to hurt your feelings.

She doesn't want to be with you and has found someone else. Don't waste your time being mad...just move on with your life and forget about her.

It means the relationship isn't working, but she's trying to say it's not your fault. She accepts responsibility for it not working... but it's still not working.
