I don't know personally, because I do not have this calling, but based on what other people have told me, I assume that you will feel like it is something that you were made for, and you will have a longing and a natural desire to do so. Also, circumstances might help you decide; you cannot go into ministry if you can't find the money to pay for seminary, for example.

I felt a "call" to the ministry when I was in High School. I heard a scripture in my head and read it later in Romans, How will they know unless one is sent? I felt that the call was to Africa and I spent 2 1/2 years in Nigeria. I am currently studying for my ministerial license. God will give you a peace about what He is calling you to as well as confirming it. Don't rush God. If it is to happen....schooling, pastoring, using drama, whatever God will make a way but let it happen in His timing.

You get the hint, either quietly or in an amazing burst of his presence, then you pray about it, and he'll assure you.
Whenever you're inspired to say something, a lot of the time, that's God telling you to.

My pastor said it was the only thing he could think. He felt that god wanted him to serve him for life. And thats the only thing he wanted to do.. Besides playing drums..but, thats another story.

Well For one have you obayed the Gospal Plan of salvation? 2. if not do you know it? 3. if you did then were is youre burden or youre haurts desire? is it for the Lost? or is it to gain recognition?

I believe with prayer and honestly seeking His face He will open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed in any area you pray over and are truly believing should happen. My prayers are with you =)

I think you feel an inner desire to minister and it comes from our devine creator.I feel this urge myself and it is strong.You should not fight it but go with it
