I wouldn't do it for about 3-4 months.
1. They will fight the bugs.
2. The price might drop.
I was watching the Today show intreview with Bill Gates, and it looks a lot more advanced. It might take you a while to get use to it. It looks complicated. The desktop search is alot better than XP, and it has a parental control, which XP doesn't. It also has a defender program built right in. That's nice so you dont have to buy, for example Norton Anit-Virus every year.

I wouldn't install Vista at this point due to the potential for "bugs" in it once it's released. Then there's the definite possibility that your computer may not have the proper hardware (RAM and CPU) to handle it. If it were me, and the XP system is running fine, then just hold off and let the bugs get worked out.

If you have the money to invest in making a Vista Premium computer.. sure. Besides some visual enhancements.. it isnt worth it in my opinion because microsoft will still dedicate atleast 3 more years of XP service.
