Hmm interesting Question, I bet if u were to ask the Leaders/Decision Makers of America they would tell you "When the Job is Done" and others will say "when the Job is done right"
Many smart and dumb people that help run America have given estimates at when the USA will leave Iraq but they are probably wrong.
Umm hmmm Wow, very interesting question. Sounds alot like what people were saying during the Vietnam Conflict (its not a War, Yeah right, hahaha)
The war in Iraq is very similiar to the War we once fought in Vietnam. And so are the political actions that are being made by our leaders.
So my anwser to you my friend is that we wouldnt have a Set/Established Date for leaving Iraq but rather a spreadout time table of slowly withdrawing US forces from the Area. Then the New and Improved Iraq Government will take over officially and run the country using their own military/police forces. And The USA will probably help fund that government (just like Vietnam). Then one day a group of politicians will come together and will get the US to stop giving money to the Iraq Government. Then the insurgents and freedom fighters of Iraq will get stronger and will take over the Iraq Government because the Iraq National Guard will run out of funding. Just like Vietnam.

It is time for America to accept that once again it has been defeated, just as in Somalia, Vietnam, Korea, San Salvador and Iran first time around. America never learns the lesson that the mighty are rarely the victorious. Right eventually overwhelms might - and the people of countries invaded by swaggering bullying nations like America are automatically in the right when they fight to repel the invaders. Iraq will end in shame and humiliation for America, like Somalia, Korea and Vietnam unless a planned and progressive withdrawal begins now. Don't believe the crap that the allied forces don't want to leave Iraq in a mess - the mess is of America's own making. The only reason they're reluctant to leave is the fear that they'll lose control first of all of Iraqi oil, then Saudi Arabia will fall and they'll lose that oil too, then Iran will run the whole show in the Middle East and consequently the price and the flow of oil. Why else is Mr Oil Bush beginning to say that America must wean itself off oil - he knows America is losing the oil war.

As soon as people stop focusing on leaving and start supporting the reasons we are there. Lets focus our attention ,as Americans, on supporting our troops and our country. Spread the positive instead of negative. The media is such a feeding frenzy on so much negativity. Find a soldiers 360 blog, that is serving in Iraq and gain firsthand knowlege of the real deal!
Thanks for the question!

Unfair to say that 'America' is in Iraq. After all only El Salvador and the United States have troops there. Unfair to fault all of America due to the actions of a minority of two out of 36 nations.

I don't think this administration wants American Forces out of Iraq. If they had it their way, they would make perminate duty stations all over Iraq.

I think the Iraqi's need to lean to say "Would you like fries with that", and "Super-Size"
We will always be in the district now. It's all about the money now.
