It breaks my heart to hear things like this. If you don't like your tat, cover it up with a new one, or add to the one you have.

Laser treatments can remove tattoos although they are expensive, require several sessions and even when you are done, there is a ghost image of the tattoo. Some colors can't be faded completely, so most people wind up getting a cover up tattoo.

Very small tattoos can be removed by having the whole area of skin cut out, but then you are left with a huge scar.

Bottom line is that you should be careful what you get tattooed on you, regret is not something you want to feel about body mods.

Tatoos can be removed in some cases. This would normally be done through a private medical unit using laser surgery. Probably be quite painful and take a lot of sessions but will be successful in removal.

Yes, a tattoo can be removed via a laser process of sorts. It is pricey, requires more than one treatment, is painful to a point and if not done correctly will leave behind scar tissue. If considering this make sure you know everything up front and do a background check on the doctor you choose to do the procedure, have a one on one consultation with the doctor before hand, discuss options for the procedure, length of time for procedure and recupration as well as number of sessions and price. You may want to check too if there is a flat rate for this procedure or if it is on a session by session basis.

They can be removed by laser. I have never had a tat removed. But I did have Lasic procedures for scar removal and that was EXTREMELY painful, but the scar was horrible, so I put up with the pain. I would imagine that the laser for tattoo removal would be just as painful, if not more painful due to the fact that the ink is under your skin and a scar is on top of your skin.
Good Luck though!

Everyone keeps saying laser. That maybe the most efficient way, but I have an alternative solution. I have been using this on one of my tattoos that I don't like, and it is working pretty well. It is called Esoterica. It is a fading cream. It costs 6 bucks at Kroger at the Pharmacy. Just apply it twice a day, every day, for 6 weeks. Your tattoo will fade if you keep up with the cream. Hope it helps! =)

Yes they can, but it's a long process and it's expensive. It also leaves a bump where the tattoo was, so think long and hard about marking up your body. Make sure you choose something that is meaningful to you now and forever. And pick something that you'll never get tired of looking at ,or be ashamed of.

they have a laser surgery that can remove them but they are still there. it will be a light colored scar... if you have one you're better off staying with it. if you don't don't bther getting it. when you get old and wrinkled imagine what it will look like... if you reffer a scar to the actual tattoo go ahead have a ball i hope you have the money for it...

Yes they do it with a laser and it costs big bucks and is more painful than getting the actual ink. So think before you act!

tattoos can be removed with lasers.

tattoos can be hidden by being covered by pigment the same colour as your skin. i don't know how effective this is

Or tattoos can be covered by another tattoo, so the name of an ex partner can be covered by another tattoo by a skilled tattoo artist

With lasers, but you'll still have a silvery scar where the tattoo used to be. There's also amputation. Otherwise, they're there until you die -- even AFTER you die.
