audley lost first time, he won because danny wasnt on top form. audley has no style and is a big brick wall trying to box. he will never match up to evander hollyfield, rocky marciano, muhammad ali, or tyson.

This is a joke right? By beating Danny Williams does not even make Audley Harrison the best in Europe or even England. Williams is an over the hill fighter who in his day was not world class himself. Harrison hasn't fought any-one near world level yet and when he does (if ever) you will see that he is all hype. I am one for supporting our hopefuls but I am afraid that he will never be a world champion, even in the state the heavyweight scene is at the moment. I think that 95% of true boxing fans would agree with me.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha why ask that if anyone thinks that audley is the best in the world now cause he beat williams then im sorry you all dont know your boxing..granted he won but by god if he wants to be the best heavyweight in the world he has got a long way to go and by that time he will be to old he wasnt impressive he won 1 match and now everyone thinks he is the best but bare in mind the heavyweight division is no longer great there is no-one there anymore so maybe thats why people say he is the best but i dont if lennox lewis came back now god he would knock audley out in round 1 so bottom line no he isnt the greatest and he never will be......

You've come to the wrong forum mate, no-one likes Audley round here, the fact that he's the best British Heavyweight since Lennox means little to most around here.
He's clearly some way off being the best in the world but in a couple of fights it wouldn't shock me if he's in the mix, his distruction of Danny Williams wasn't a lacklustre affair, he battered him from here to kingdom come.

If I thought Audley Harrison was a good boxer I should get myself commited. He is crap and the only way he will become a world
champion is if nobody else turns up

harrison lost to danny williams the first time, which is embarrasing enough, at least when mike tyson lost to him he was washed up plus had to deal with a torn knee ligament. williams is a joke, he can't stay in shape, always weighs some ridiculous amount. harrison is crap, he lost to another overrated fighter in dominic guinn, who only because he threw more punches. even though the heavyweight division is weak, all the fighters in the top 10 could beat harrison with no problem.

No not by any stretch of the imagination. There really are no contenders for such a title, even those that hold the belts at present such is the disarray of the division. Outside of Tyson and at a push Lewis, ther have been no heavywieghts that spring to mind. Remember Holyfield was a light-heavywieght that forgot to diet properly.
Until there is unification of the belts (probably never because of money) I can only forsee more doom and gloom.

The heavyweight division is pretty bad at the moment but not so bad that Harrison is the best.
