Well sometimes you have to forgive someone and let them go and wish the best for them.

Sometimes when you forgive someone they still need to expereince the consequences for what they did.

My wife has forgiven her dad for the many pains that he has caused her in life. However, she verbally told her dad, yes I forgive you, and whenever you change you are allowed back into my life. Until then, I will not let you, a destructive person, continually hurt me over and over.

You are asked to forgive. Most of us can't forget. The answer is no. To forgive is to assist in healing your own pain, at times talking with someone or having them around doesn't allow for healing. The one thing that forgiveness allows is to keep us from being bitter, which is difficult especially when the pain is very vivid. Sometimes it's not possible for us to forgive, so we need to ask for God's assistance. He sees all and understands all. Blessings to you.

Not necessarily. It's excellent, mature and healing to choose to forgive.....but never forget. If it was a coworker that has offended you by crossing a line and you have no choice but to face them everyday.....sure, go ahead and forgive but just act civil around the office. And prepare yourself for repeated offenses. It is good to have a good heart....but there are times when you just have to be a little thick-skinned and say "f··· off!". Trust me, it's the best thing you could do.

Let me give you an example... My birth mother walked off and left my father with 5 children, me the oldest at 6. For too many years to count, I harbored a hatred toward her. After becoming a Christian, I prayed and prayed a lot before I was able to forgive her. I saw her one day and I told her that I forgive her. But I have no desire to socialize with her and thankfully, she has moved far away.

Eventually. Though the normal human reaction to pain is to recoil and avoid. But think; if you want forgiveness from God or your fellow man - would you still want be dealt with spoken to, treated kindly? That is what in included in Matthew 6:9,-12.

I would try to talk and deal with them you forgive them for what ever they are doing, weather they except it or not is their choice however, how u deal with them, well, if dont except and till angry or what ever, dont deal with them and wipe your shoes off, however i myself would pray and ask God for forgiveness for anything we havent done not pleasing to HIM we shall ask forgiveness for, For if we have hurt some one , even when not aware of it, its unpleasing to GOD
no offense, just my opinion as a christian
and perhaps someday they will forgive and sometimes its funny but true they become your best or close freinds.
its happened to me

forgivness, = healing for yourself & others

No, you don't have to tell them that you've forgiven them. Forgiving someone means you no longer hold whatever they did against them. Nobody has to know but you, and you will feel so much better that you quit hating them.

Definitely not. If my neighbor stole something from my home, I could forgive them, but it doesn't mean that I would leave my door unlocked. I do think that it means that you shouldn't hold a grudge towards that person and that you should act at least civilly towards them.

No. It means that you have set them and yourself free. When you do not forgive they are bound to you with an invisible rope. Forgive, let go and move on.

No!
To forgive them is for your own health and happiness and soul.

If they are a negative in your life you do not have to keep them in your life.
