I find some cute sweaters for my Italian Greyhound at Target. A fleece jacket is under $15. I've also found some very cute things at Old Navy and it's always pretty inexpensive there. I did try and make a fleece jacket but it didn't turn out as nice as I would have liked. Happy Shopping!

walmart, petsmart, target do a search online. I have a dauchsund and it is hard to find clothes that fit him. He is 7months old and wears a medium in t-shirts and a small in sweaters. I would reccomend taking her somewhere where you can tryt he clothes on her first to get an idea of what she can fit into. You have to be aware of their little short legs and how long they are. I haven't really had that problem yet, just the part that like oldnavy.com has medium sweaters, but they are way way to big for him. But then I go to Petsmart and get medium t-shirts and they fit. They are odd shaped little dogs, long and skinny, so I'de suggest going some place first and trying them on. But everywhere I've seen is kinda pricey, but not sure how low on praces yoru looking for either.

i have a mini dach, too. they are great dogs. make sure you start the crate training asap. email me for more details if you're not sure of the process. dachs are very stubborn. the tough thing about fitting the dachs is that they are very long and skinny. don't buy things over the internet until she has stopped growing. trust me on this- i've bought things, and they still don't fit him! take her to petsmart, and try things on her, or you'll be running back and forth constantly to exchange them. i wish i had a female to dress up! so much cuter! she will grow, so maybe buy a jacket (she will get cold outside), and a cute tshirt. if she's little, she'll grow quick. good luck!

Most large cities have doggy clothing stores. Some dog shelters have doggy boutiques where they sell doggy clothes.

http://www.puccipetwear.com/ is good
http://www.jessicasoriginal.biz/ is pretty good too
http://www.purecountrypetboutique.com have some nice stuff
http://www.glamourdog.com/ is really nice but expensive, though at the moment they are doing cheap shipping!
If not these you can always get clothes from your local build-a-bear/bear factory store or buy baby clothes and make then to suit your dog!
Just for special occasions, check out http://spoiledrottendoggies.com/costumes.htm for dress-up clothes!

Where I live, one of the best places to go is PETSMART. They have pretty cute dog outfits, and they are usually pretty affordable

I make clothes for my chihuahua, the bottom part of a pant leg works good for a jacket. I have also knit her a little sweater.

if ur going to drees up ur dog- be reasonable about it. if ur going to put lil frilly stuff on it and hats, its not only silly looking for the dog-people are going to be puzzled by u.
maybe just put raincoats or loose sweatshirts on her.
try oldnavy.com EXTREMELy cute stuff, just not that much of it
