i have everything I need for my tax return except this.....help

It'll be on your W-2, if you received one.

If you didn't get a W-2, the next best resource is to call the employer and ask.

If you're unable to do that, then there are web sites (can't recommend any, sorry) that claim to be able to provide you this information. Do a search.

Technically speaking, an EIN is like a SSN and therefore you're not supposed to just be able to "get" an employer's number. For example, the IRS will not provide this information unless you can prove that you are authorized to get it. Still, you can try the Business & Specialty Tax Line at (800) 829-4933 and see what they say. Although this number is really for employers, they might be able to direct you to some help. Explain WHY you can't just contact the employer (e.g., the employer closed down and you have no reasonable way to locate them).
