You'll be told that you failed and to get your eyes checked by an optometrist or ophthalmologist. Until you pass the eye exam, you cannot be issued a permit or license.

When one fails the eye test in any state, they do not get their permits or drivers license. You can take the test again after a period of time, but normally it means that you need glasses.

It is not like an eye exam at the doctor. it is just a few letters that are across a little screen and you read them out loud to the instructor.

You must wait a week till you can take it again. you keep taking it till you pass. I had to do the same thing.
