I don't have a scripture passage that reminds me of my life. But I do have a couple of favorite scriptures.

The first is this: Psalms 83:18 where the Bible tells you God's name. His name is Jehovah. I like to know who I'm praying to. And in the lord's prayer, it says to pray that God's name be sanctified. But without knowing that name, our prayers would simply be in vain.

Another favorite is: Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 where it brings out that the dead are conscious of nothing. It's reassuring to know that when someone I loves dies, they are not feeling any hurt or pain anymore. Unlike the teachings of a hellfire.

And the last fave woud be: Revelations 21:3,4 where it states how God will one day wipe every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will morning, nor outry be anymore. These things will have passed away.

Oops,...one more: Psalms 37:9-11 where it reads that the wicked will be destroyed and the righteous ones will inherit the earth.

All of these are such reassuring promises by God. I look forward to the ones that have not been fulfilled yet.

I wish you well!

Right now I like Psalm33: 10-12
"The Lord foils the plans of the Nations;
He thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Blesses is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for His inheritance".

God will deliver us from the evil of Iran and terrorism.
I believe this and look forward to His deliverance.
Peace out.

Yes, the conversion of St.Paul. Although I didn't come close to doing all the bad things Paul [or Saul, as he was also known] did, I didn't become a Catholic until I was 55 years old, and I loved every minute of it since I was baptized.Thank You Lord, for showing me the way to You.

Holy Quran, do want to know why? because Holy Quran teaches everything good from the courtesy with parents to rule to govern, for more click:

I know some people malign Holy Quran but for them read the warning below:
Warning!

Please keep in mind that ANY translation of the Qur'an will most definitely contain errors. In its natural language (Arabic), the Qur'an is the direct Word of Allah (God) to mankind through the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Any translation of the Qur'an no longer retains that 'official' and perfect status, however it can be tremendously helpful to beginning students wanting to learn more about Islam.

I should strongly encourage those want to learn about Islam to purchase a hardcopy of the Qur'an but with the following conditions:
get one with commentary (tafseer)
make sure the tafseer is scholarly (e.g. references to reasons behind a verse, references to hadith and sunnah, etc.)

Psalms 139, recently I've been going trough some up's and downs fighting my flesh, but thank you for posting this question because it helped me remember that God already knows me and has accepted me from before my creation and is here to guide me back to him.

May God bless you all.
