It is starting to heal but is infected deep inside & warm to the touch . what should I do

Go to a doctor or the ER ASAP. It sounds infected and hands don't usually get infected unless it's something bad. Hands have good blood supply and so you usually don't get any big hand infections except small skin lesions. You have what sounds like a deep space infection and it will not get better on its own any time soon. If it gets bad enough you may start to have swelling in your armpits. If you haven't had a tetanus toxoid shot, you also need one of these as well as antibiotics. Don't take diagnoses off the Internet , Get it checked out yourself by a local Physician

Clean with Alcohol, put antibiotic ointment on it, and bandage it. Chances are you may need to goto the doctor and get it checked out if it is infected.

you should take antibiotics, and ATS , this is very important if you have infection, to treat swollen make your hand raise on pillow when you sleep( your hand must be high to decrease swelling, and put hot compresses) take care
