Hi everyone, I am trying to find a miniature english Bulldog for around $1000-$1500 or less if possible? Does anyone know anyone who sells them around the Los angeles or San Bernandino area. Thanks

I know they are not miniature like a miniature pincher, but they weight about 40-50lbs. Thanks I do know that.

I live in the Inland Empire area. I don't have a specific breeder's name but I can give you the name of a Veterinarian in Rubidoux that specializes in English Bulldogs and has lots of reputable breeders that use his services. They might be able to put you in touch with someone. Good Luck

A Miniature Bulldog is not recognized by the AKC, so there's always a chance you could get screwed. You could buy a puppy and 6 months later realize that it's going to be a lot bigger than you realized. If you're looking for an English Bulldog-like dog, only smaller, try a French Bulldog or a Boston Bull Terrier. They're not exactly the same, but at least you know how big they'll get.

I own a English Bulldog and this is my concern. Is why would a miniature bulldog have less health problems. It doesn't make sense to me. I would think they would have more. I would definitely check it out for sure because my dog has cost us a lot in vet bills. I love him and he is the BEST dog in the hole wide world but I also did a tonne of research on the breed before I got him. I would advise you the same so you know what your getting yourself into.

A "Miniature" bulldog does not exist, what they have done is taken the smallest pups of the litter (which means they are not breed standard, possibly stunted growth, and very possible health problems) and bred them together.
You would quite possibly end up with a very expensive, very unhealthy dog.
Like another answer says, check with AKC.
If you are willing to spend over $1000, a reputable breeder will give you all the paperwork and lineage history of your pedigreed dog

Drive on up to the San Fransico area. Travel across the Golden Gate Bridge about half way. Take out your wallet and toss $1500.00 off the side into the Bay. A little fat Troll with wild red cotton hair will reach out from under the bridge and take your money....
Sounds like a bunch of crap doesn't it?
So is finding a miniature Bulldog.

Just so ya know, this is NOT a purebred dog. most are bulldog/pug crosses, and do not warrant a $1000 price tag. I got an unregistered pug for 700 bucks and he is great in health and temperment, and he IS a purebred dog. Good luck in your hunt, but consider a pug, they are fantastic little dogs.

I've never heard of a miniature bulldog....but did you try the breeder list on www.akc.org? You might find someone there.
Good luck

Do you mean a French Bulldog? Cuz there's no such thing as a Mini English Bulldog.

Hopefully for free, because you should be able to find many mixed breeds at the shelter for a very small fee.
