No. It's more depressing when you are fighting with a partner or in a dead-end relationship than it will ever be when you are single. It's just another day filled with hope and promise when you are single.

I do know it is extremely depressing when your single but I think it is even more depressing if you just lost the person you really loved close to valentines day.

to some because its a holiday meant to be shared. many people look to dating organizations and church to find someone special. I feel that if you are alone on Valentines Day that you can laugh and think of how you'll work to change next Valentines Day.

i think it can be both depressing and good because one you don't have to think about buying gifts and making your partner feel special and on the other hand you have your friends talking about what they are going to do for their love ones and it makes you feel lonely, so i think that valentines is depressing if or if not you have a partner.

Duh definitely especially when you see all your friends having fun while you just sit there depressed about why you are single and why they get to have all the fun but don't let it get you down bcuz they are plenty of fish out in the sea. You just gotta know where to find them.
