would that give people the ability to justify cannibalism? since we could essentially "regrow" the human they want to eat?

Would we call it farming? Hmm. Since clones don't have souls I would say they're fair game.

Cannibalism cannot be justified because it can spread disease. It also stunts the spread of the gene pool...see the link below.
Not only that, but murder is murder.
With cloning, the second person would be another free thinking individual. It wouldn't be the 'same person'. They would essentially have their own religion, their own thoughts, and even their own likes and dislikes, that are separate from the original. This is, of course, a theory. But, I think that cloning would be WONDERFUL from a psychological standpoint, because we would be able to delve deeper than ever before into the 'nature vs. nurture' debate.

It is possible in the first place. That's why the Egyptians mummified themselves but the cannibalism aspect is simply an animalistic weakness that exist in humans. Maybe it can be justified for survival but not as a delicacy

Cannibalism isn't socially acceptable in any civilised society. This is a dumb question so I'm gonna leave it at that.
If you're being sarcastic its hard to know what else you could possibly mean by this silly question.

You can't regrow a person. If you cloned yourself, all you'd have is an identical twin, not a copy of yourself. Can you justify eating your twin brother?

Cloning doesn't duplicate the personality, the soul, the memory or the life experiences, only the physical characteristics of the "host."
Why, exactly, do you want to justify cannibalism?
("Eating your twin brother"? Kinky, Abram.)

Umm, no.
Why would you even think of that?
You make get the same person back, genetically, when you clone, but you can't reproduce a personality. So no. Cannabalism will never be socially acceptable. Sorry to spoil any of your hopes there.
