he must have had rocket boosters to get out of the atmosphere.
back then the term heaven was used to describe what we now call the universe or "outer space"

First off God created everything...including aerodynamics.. But He didn't fly to heaven he ascended, rose up...If you are God and can make or do anything: I think He just says/thinks it & it happens!

I always thought that he just threw a smoke-bomb on the ground, and when the smoke cleared, he was gone.
