I don't really have an answer to your question, because I'm agnostic, but you do make an excellent point (if Jesus was God...). In my experience on Yahoo! some people claim that Jesus is God and some claim he's not God but rather the son of God. What of the inconsistency? Is this from different sects of Christianity? Or different interpretations of the Bible? I'm curious why it's not one or the other for all Christians. Hope to read some good answer to your question.

Jesus is not God. Trinitarians are indeed blind to what the Bible really says. At Ps. 83:18, Jehovah is called the Most High. When announcing Jesus' birth, the angel Gabriel told Mary that she would give birth to the Son of the Most High. (Luke 1:32) What could be more plain than that? John 3:17 says that God sent his Son to earth. What could be more plain than that? At John 10:36, Jesus called himself the Son of God. What could be more plain than that?

Jesus was God in the flesh, but here is the thing that man has trouble with, although He was God and is God,He Jesus had to Defeat (Satan) His Arch Enemy,as a Man,The sinless Man.
To buy back what Adam gave up,this Sacrifice or subsutation
death, was what God required,He (Jesus) could have used Power to Defeat Satan,But that would not helped You or Me.
So God can relate to you & I in all our struggles.
Man"s thinking If there are 3 Persons in the God Head, each must contain 1/3, Yes here on Earth ,if there are three people,in the natural,There can be three opinons, not so with God,They are 100 % in all things.conclusion For God could not be Killed by Satan,You can"t kill a Spirit,In Spirit world, you battle with God"s Word. Thanks for allowing others to perticapate

This would be part of taking human form, and experiencing what is like to be human. Even one with full knowledge of the future (if you study and believe the gospels to be true all his words point that Jesus did have perfect knowledge of the future) would still have to train the body as an infant to walk and talk. Omnipotence does not preclude the choice to take the form of a limited human body, and the choice to be limited by that body.

"the staggering subject Noah did" and what's that precisely. Moses grew to become into no longer something without God. i assume 6,000 manuscripts of the NT on my own isn't sturdy adequate for you. Or how approximately 23,000 archeological discoveries that without delay help the Bible. humorous you communicate approximately respecting different religions yet mock Christians by skill of calling them cocky and belittling Jesus. have you ever seen the information at the instant. seems Muslims are not very non violent.

He was and is God, but He also was and is "a man like us in all things but sin". In Scripture we see many examples of His divinity, but also many examples of His humanity. How He was able to have both natures simultaneously is of course a mystery, incapable of understanding by the human mind. Still, if His Father is God and His mother is human, then it must be so that He is both God and man. And so it must be, for if He was only God He could not have died on a cross; but if He was only a man his death on the cross could not have atoned for all the sins of the human race for all time.

Because God took upon himself our humanity and became like us in ALL things -- except sin. However, he never gave up any of his divinity during the entire time he was in Mary's womb or on earth. He who is unapproachable (EX 3:5) became approachable. It was an act of deepest humility:
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature[a] God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

Yes Jesus was and is god, God was born into the man family, and he had to go through the same things man goes through, but he was without sin, He did the things that was needed to die for the sins of man, and went back as being god.

Yes He was. Because He was born into the world as a baby. He was fully human so that He could live as we do and experience the same things we do. The thing that separates us from Him is that He lived a perfect sinless life and He died for us who are sinful. This single act made it possible for us to have a one on one relationship with Him and acquire repentence of our sins. We no longer have to go through a priest or sacrifices animals as they did in the old testament to gain repentence for our sins.

Jesus was God and man while he was on earth. The human side of him had to learn how to walk and talk just like we do. While he was on earth he veiled some of his holy qualities so that he could be like us, only without sin.
