Sure go ahead if you are ready for the divorce and the hurt you will cause your wife once the friend tells her. You will also put this friend in a bad situation.

Are you an idiot????? If you don't want to be married, get divorced and then do what you want. There is nothing meaner or more deceitful than the betrayal of trust by both parties when a man makes it with his wife's best friend. I don't respect you at all and I would respect her even less if she were to seriously consider getting involved with you. You're no husband and she'd be no friend.

If you really feel you must. However ask yourself is it worth leaving your current relationship? I promise you the grass is not always greener on the other side!! Are you in love with this woman because she is new and exciting? Is it because you feel like there is not so much personally involved with this new woman? If so, you need to stay where your at. One or two nights of sex with this new woman and your going to be kicking yourself for leaving your wife. Remember, once you burn that bridge, there is no going back. Good luck
