I have five piercings, two in each ear and one in my nose. When I got my nose pierced it bled for a little over a week and then healed. Is the area around your piercing red and does it hurt? It could be an infection and go to the doctor immediately. Where is the piercing? Some places heal more slowly than others. If I were you, leave the piercing in and use Dial soap to clean it (I used it when I had problems with my piercing). Don't touch it but if you have to, WASH your hands! Good luck.

Take that thing out. It's not worth the pain. So many people are pierced and tattooed all over the place these days that it's not even all that unique anymore. I got the cartilage in my upper ear pierced 9 months ago only to have it get infected and bleed last month. I got to thinking what a pain it was. Couldn't sleep on that side of my head, my hair would get wrapped around it, it would hurt when I towelled my hair off after a shower. Plus, unless I put my hair up, no one could see it anyway. Pulled it out and I feel free!!! Yay!!! I can sleep on my left side again! It was like getting a cast off. Of course, that's just me. Maybe I'm getting old. At least I didn't say, "If God had wanted a hole in your ear/naval/nose/unmentionable.... he'd have put it there himself..."

it depends where the piercing is- if the blood is ruby red without any puss and the piercing is somewhere where it can get snagged on clothes alot or caught in hair or pulled on then it may just be irritated or pierced to deep (like on the eyebrow) and the skin pulls against it. If there is a little mucous to it like a little watery blood then I would say use an antibacterial soap daily and then smudge on some AD ointment. If it is mostly puss TAKE IT OUT- it's infected!

My friend had a bellybutton ring that took a year to heal. Personally, I have had many piercings in the past, and my body rejected them all. Some people's bodies just don't like foreign objects being stuck in them, and you should listen to your body and just pass on the piercings.

Wow, where on your body did you have it done? Is it in a place that catches on clothing? Sounds like your skin is rejecting the metal and that can cause serious infection. Go to the doctor asap.

Take it out. Should be healed by now. Anyway piercings are overrated. You'll just end up taking them all out in a couple years anyhow. Don't waste any more of your money.

You probably have an infection. Your body is trying to tell you that piercing is not good. See your doctor.
