I've found out that a woman I've been seeing for a couple of months has been reading my emails (work and private ones). I've done absolutely nothing to warrant this sort of behaviour.... do all women do this and was her only crime getting caught?

ok my friend let me give you a little enlightenment. i have been that crazed witch of eastwick, and i have to say i now know what it was that made me so insane, since i am now in a relationship and not insane. i thinks its down to a couple of reasons so sit tight and get comfy.
1, chances are she has been hurt, pooed on from a great height by a few guys before, and those guys respectively got pooed on by crazed physco chicks, its the chicken and the egg sydrome.
2, as a result from said betrayel, she doesnt trust men, and its nothing personal its just life. she will get over it, but probably not with you as she is displaying this untrusting behaviour with you, even if you have done nothing to warrant the way she is treating you.
3,you and her are fundementally not working, which is exacerbating the problem of her mistrust, unfortunately no matter how much you or her want it to happen some people just dont mesh well. your not a bad person and neither is she you arent making her feel secure enough, not through any fault of your own, to be fair you probably couldnt give her what she wants, its obviously not instinctive so it would be unnatural for you to behave differently with her and there for she would be suspicious of why your behaviour has changed.
4,when she is in the relationship with the guy who just feels right and treats her how she needs she wont behave like cher from the witches of eastwick because she wont need to, she will feel loved and secure naturally.
ok and so ends my tutorial, i have to say i can relate to your girlfriend, been there done it, got the T shirt blah blah. all of you guys out there who think women are physco's welcome to your reward. and all you guys out there who love your women as they deserve congratulations and i hope your women appreciate you because they should.

Not all women do this,only ones who are insecure or have trouble trusting people or maybe she just likes you alot. I can't speak for all women but from a girlie point of view after a couple of months of dating we want to know where we stand, we can't just ask this as it gets interpreted as a marriage proposal and your man panics and runs for the hills! She probably just wants reassurance especially if you haven't actually said to each other that the relationship is exclusive between both of you, or she cud be a bit controlling! best answer i can give with no background info, haven't used this question answer thing before so please forgive me if I have spoken out of turn

I don't do it cos I trust my husband, and allway's have. You are probably doing something to warrant her behaviour. Treat her with a bit of respect, and don't do thing's to make her jealous. There's nothing worse than a bloke flirting with other women while your out anywhere, my husband only has eyes for me.

Oh yes..lots of women do it! Its insecurity and we here all of these horror stories about what other men do. Its nothing personal and its our own issues. We don't mean to be a snoop or distrusting but for some women it is just in our nature!!!

A lot of people (not just women) have been screwed over in the past and want to make sure it's not happening again. Plus, if you arent hiding anything, whats the big deal. Let her check them and she will find out for herself that you aren't anything to be worried about.

Well, it's like you said, it was ONE woman and now you go on and slag us all for her faults.
Of course it's not right.
I have no idea why she did it, too many possibilities and one being that she might well be a psycho, and secondly, you'd better check who you sleep with!
Maybe you need to make it clear to whoever you're dating what the boundaries are.

Bloody men and damn you for saying the women! Since men are always and had been well known for cheating, who ever you are dating has the rights to read ur private emails, phones, letters, ect.... If you got a problem, don't date, don't get married and be a monk. That would be the best for ya!

Not all women are like that. This one sounds a bit Fatal Attraction. You dont have a pet rabbit do you? If I was you Id get rid asap and if you do have a rabbit, move it to a secure location!

no not all women do this but if she has been reading your emails you can almost guarantee she has been reading your text, i will say woman lose all sense of normal behaviour when the heart is involved, its just one of those things you have to put up with,

No...I don't believe all women do this. I most definitely don't (and of course some of my friends think I'm insane that I don't since they've been burned so much). Have you given her any reason not to trust you? If not, this is definitely not a good sign and time to say buhbye.
