It must e mispelled either if you mean it's a family name or first name. I've checked in the Italian White Pages (phone directory) and there is nobody in Italy with this surname.
I guess you mean LORENZO and this is a very common Italian first name.
Lorenzo is the Italian and Spanish form of the ancient Latin Laurentius which meant "of Laurentum". Laurentum was a city in ancient Italy, its name probably deriving from Latin laurus "laurel".

It is definitely an Italian name. It exists both as a christian name and a surname. There was a well known artist in Italy during the Gothic period called Corenzo Maitini, and also a famous Renaissance painter whose name was Belisario Corenzo (born circa1558 ,died 1640).

Naples, Messina, Sicily, and Havana are all ports where Corenzos emigrated to the US from in the early 1900s. I would say Italian.
