I'd start by checking the routing number and account number to be sure it was deposited into the correct account. Then follow up with both IRS and your bank to resolve it.

That was a Friday. You may need to wait until Monday or Tuesday for it to clear your account and show up as a deposit. I'd check with the IRS and bank though, if it doesn't show up in a few days. I assume you're checking the correct bank account.

I agree with SuzieQ, wait a couple of days for it to clear the bank then ... call the IRS at 1-800-829-1954.

E-mail the IRS and ask for proof, including the ACCOUNT NUMBER of where it was deposited. They may have typed an incorrect account number and the name of the bank where it was deposited.

Check your copy of your return and veify the routing code and account number. If there is any mistake you are in for a long wait for your refund.
