Ga. Teens Admit to Killing Dog in Oven
ATLANTA — Two teenagers accused of duct-taping a puppy's snout and paws and cooking the animal alive in an oven pleaded guilty Friday to animal cruelty and other offenses.
Prosecutors said Joshua Moulder, 17, and his brother, Justin, 19, broke into a newly refurbished community center, where they tortured and killed the 3-month-old puppy, damaged computers, broke glass and splattered paint on the walls.
The brothers then brought neighborhood children to see the dead puppy and threatened to kill them if they reported it, prosecutors said.
They will be sentenced next month.

I'm against the death penalty but I do think they should be in prison for a very long time and get some psychological treatment. There is something very wrong with someone to do that. By the way they pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next month.

Sadly with how laws are set up, pets are considered property so these guys will probably only get a slap on the wrist. It angers me because most people who are violent towards animals either currently or in the future turn their violence to humans as well. Why not stop them while we have the signs of their nature before they hurt a human?
And 98% of serial killers do in fact, have a history of animal abuse. I wish the law would take these stats more seriously and put them to use in keeping these creeps of the street.

Oh my gosh!!! Thats so cruel!!! Since they're teens, they'll probably get off with 6-12 months of probation and therapy. I hate people like that. People who abuse animals should definately be sentenced to death or abused like the animal but worse. Poor puppy!

OMFG! thats horrible! what frickin sickos!
yeah, they should definatly get a long court sentance, but they probably wont get the death sentance. ((but they should))
any one sick enough to do this to a puppy sounds like a potential serial killer in the making, there definatly is something not right in the head. Ew thats so creepy.
I would try lookig on google, or if the newspaper you read it in has a webste try looking on there. Im going to search for this on google myself to see if I can find anything.
man, thats so horrible, jeeez. i cant get over it.

i think the death sentance is a little extream, but i think a harsh punishment is in order (especially if they are teens, they know better). i didnt hear about this story, but thats just terrible!! i've always been a firm believer that people who torture animals are just a short step away from harming humans (serial killers in the making maybe?)

"Do unto others" should apply here. The same should be done to them.
A man that lives in my area stabbed a three month old puppy with a fork. He went to jail. What goes around comes around.

Sadly, in our country we don't have strict enough laws concerning animal cruelty. Since they are teenagers, they probably won't get much of a sentence. They are very sick individuals and in my opinion, they need a harsh punishment.

They won't get the death sentence. First, dogs, as cute and loveable as they are, are legally classified as property. You don't get the death sentence for destroying property.

Torturing animals is one of three steps in becoming a serial killer.
