we eliminated a terrorist leader. we took over a country to help stabalize it for the future. we created fear into the terrorist group. all those things are amazing. u should be ashamed for asking a sarcastic question. im currently in iraq. let me ask u a question. what are u benifiting from sitting on ur *** at home complaining about something u are not even a part of. by the way when i said we, i meant us soldiers, government that actually care. not hyprocritcal bastards such as urself that need to get a life. i suggest start by working at mcdonalds so i can tell the manager u suck and complain that ur food sucks. *****

They can see women go to school, not wear face coverings & work. They can see the end of the practice of raping or killing innocent women for punishment of their male family members. They can see a democratically elected President.
Is everything great? No & it will take time. Evil is strong & will not give up without a ficious fight? Our benefit is seeing & helping a new Democratic goverment's birth, much like the birth of the United States.

Ousted a dictator who was sworn to US destruction. But the war isn't over yet, even though the mission of defeating the government was accomplished, now we are fighting other elements that are trying to overthrow the government. Wait 40 years before we can tell 'what was gained'.

It wouldn't be the U.S. government reaping the benefits. It will be the businesses Halliburton, Blackwater, Bechtel, et al who will be lining their pockets with huge wads of money.

a few compamnies that are friends of the administration have done well
oil companies
arms dealers
halliburton building bases there and supplying soldiers with everything
and "civilian contractors" aka mercenaries
to sgt n: civilians are not involved? we pay taxes that pay your wages! you are supposed to work for us, this is supposed to be a democracy. When are you going to stop living off the government and get a real job? and when you get disabled because someone shot back, we will pay for your food, housing, and medical care for the rest of your life.

We got rid of a fanatical leader who had the wealth and the intent to buy methods of hurting the US.
Isn't that enough?
