You know, war, sectarian violence, seggregation, woman's vilification , persecution of scientists, terrorism, demonization of sex, child rape, mental castration, book burnings, spread of unproven facts and myths, rude accumulation of wealth and land (at the cost of the poor), widespread HATE, bloody and gory saints, faceless prophets, the destruction of human art and civilization (Bamian, Aztecs), extirpation of free will, the Dark Ages, racism, bigotry, ethnic cleansings, royalty, fear, abject ignorance, teen pregnancies, homeless kids, mortification of the flesh, etc...

The Civil Rights movement, the campaign against slavery in the US and GB had religious roots. The current campaigns against the violence perpetrated by the School of the Americas at Ft. Benning, Ga, the work against genocide in Darfur, the Jubilee Campaign, the Make Poverty History Campaign, advocacy for fighting HIV/AIDS around the world--there's strong religious leadership in all of this work.

It's not as sensationalist as the garbage perpetrated by Christian and Muslim fundamentalists, but it's good work being done by people of faith all over the world.

Yes,there are many people who claim to follow God or that they are Christians but only some of them are true embassoders of faith & peace.

What I find in my faith are inner peace,love,forgiveness and spiritual wisdom which is why I know things and I am persecuted for spiting in the Devil's eye by rebuking agents of evil.

NONE of those are from Religion.

There is no bad in the perfect faith, because in it's perfect form we would all be perfect just like Jesus Christ was.

But we are human and humans sin, ALL of those things you cite are examples of where humans have failed God, not where God has failed man.

We are all in need of the Sacraments!

faith is (and non secular acts data) a direction for non secular destiny/orbit. U turn is the religion. we would desire to continually blame the persons and not the religion for people who do no longer take the turn in the direction of the religion. in spite of the undeniable fact that Hinduism isn't a faith, yet infuses lot of refinement and says that each and every physique routes reaches the destiny. while the persons who lead their faith feels that only their faith is the direction for superb. there are maximum of unseen non secular heads who're the driving rigidity for this Veda Bhoomi and source of concept to the preachers of Dharma.
