im buying a jack russell and i want to know what is the best dog food for it want it to be healthy, strong , energetic etc. and is there any tips i should know about raising one?

I feed my rat terrier "Wellness". It has less fillers. Less skin and Dermatological problems. The Jack Russell breed is very active with very sharp puppy teeth. Tearing and ripping is what they do well. I would suggest to make sure to limit what the puppy has access to. ie shoes, furniture, and cords. Give him/her appropriate chewing sticks, hides and skins.

There are a lot of good dog foods out there. My favorite and vet recommended is Chicken Soup for the Puppy/Dog Lovers Soul. It is only sold in select pet supply shops, but it is a great food. My dogs are a nice size with great coats and teeth. They are in great condition. All the foods people have told you about are good. I would buy a couple small bags of different ones and see which your pup likes best.

I would use Royal Canin but everyone has there own faves. I use Royal Canin for my Min Pins and my vet loves it for them. Their coats are shiny they have healthy teeth strong bones and lots of muscles & bright eyes. keeps them full so I don't have to give them a lot. 1/3cup in the morning & 1/3 cup at night. not an ounce of fat they are lean & muscles. my vet said they 're in great condition.

I use Nutro. I love it. I own 2 small dogs and I love how it improves their coat. You can only buy it at like Petsmart or Petco. I spend about 25 to 30 a bag of 40lbs. I also noticed they don't poop as much when they eat it.

I have cats at the time. I had a dog and I have always been a science diet pet food feeder, it gives your animal a shiny healthy coat. Keeps them healthy and going strong. I would also suggest these new treats that are out called greenies they are great for teeth and good for the digestive system. My cat loves them and my friends give them to there dogs and they love them. Get him toys and be sure to have the time to play with him. My friends have 2 2 cairn terriers and they are great dogs very fun and great personalitys.

I like Eukanuba. Great coat and they use dental defense to keep the teeth healthy.
