My 13 yr.old removed my soundmax (" 4-she was intending,& trying 2 make herself some space:she was running out!") As Result I, No longer have any sound at all,since! I, tried restore several times but 2 no_avail! Then I tried downloading the hardware in question,which was:HDA Audio bus Driver(Amongst Others), But.,there again it proved 2 be a:Dead-End!& as if this wasn't bad enough I, DO NOT HAVE THE:CDS'ROAMS, EITHER, Since that 2,(She) My:Daughter LOST, From:the beginning of time.My:Dillema &,A:MILLION $ Questions R This:1st: What Can I Do? Also your computer seems a little out-dated. CD Roams were replaced with CD-ROMs back in the 70s.

Punish your 13 year old. Removing a sound driver recovers minimal space. She should've deleted the Sims, your porn collection, or AOL.

Unfortunately, deleting sound drivers is an irrecoverable error. The only solution is to buy a new computer or just learn to live without sound.
