The docs around here are crazier than I am, please, if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

They each do different things. Take them both. You'll be happy you did.

I'll drink to that (referring to some doctors).

I was given Buspar years ago--it did absolutely nothing--nothing. I asked another doctor about that, and she said that Buspar does not do anything--used alone. So possibly, the combo might work for you.

I personally, had a huge problem with Prozac some years ago. It made me gain 20+ pounds in one month. I was not eating more, the med just did it.
**Note: I have met several people who said that Prozac saved their lives--and that they suffered NO side-effects from it.

Prozac is an anti-depressant, and Buspar is SUPPOSED to be an anti-anxiety med. There should not be a problem with taking both--but when in doubt, talk to your pharmacist--he or she are responsible for knowing what drugs don't go together.

Prozac makes a person even more crazier than they are.I don't think its safe for you to be taking them both.

i would say why not either call your doctor or a pharmacy and ask what they think
