who will win this race??? The altima has a CAI and new exhaust, and the cobalt is stock.

Altima! no doubt! The altima is putting out 270 horses and doesnt weigh that much more than cobalt.
Plus you will look much cooler in the Altima.

What type of race are these cars going to perform in?
Considering the Altima has the 6-Speed and the Cobalt has the 5-Speed, in a drag race 1/4" mile, car-to-car, the Altima will decimate the Cobalt in terms of power and torque. It all comes down to who is the better driver.
As a saying goes "Drag Racing is for Fast Cars, Autocrossing is for Fast Drivers"

Stock Altima does the 1/4 mile in 14.8 seconds
Cobalt SS in 14.4 seconds
The cold air intake on the Altima would probably improve it's time by about 1/2 second.
I'm gonna guess the Altima will win by 1/10 of a second.

It's up to the driver.
Same driver both cars, 1/4 mile from a dig, I'll give the edge to the V6 w/ mods
Same driver both cars, from a 20 mph roll, I'll say the Cobalt

depends on the altima. If its a 6 speed, then it will be the atima. automatic, the cobalt will burry it.
As for the chick with the 6-speed....I'll race ya ;-)

Where did that dude come up with Maxima? He obviously doesn't know the difference between a Maxima and an Altima!
I would say the Altima. It has more horse power. But it doesn't always depend on the car....Gotta know how to drive them!
I have an '05 Nissan Sentra SpecV....I've had it for over a year and have yet to lose to anyone....It's a 6 speed and you bet your *** I know how to drive it! (And I'm a GIRL!!!)

cobalt ss has 205hp and is lighter...it will win..
