bill collector progressive agency?

has anbody dealt with progressive bill collection agency are they the worst excuse for a bill collection agency ?

Yeah, Broward Medical Center tried to charge me for existing in their waiting room. Apparently they did a bunch of laboratory work and a doctor saw me. I refused to pay because I was never seen, never even went to triage. I got another bill later, negative the laboratory work, but still including the hospital visit. I called up and told them that I still have a copy of the initial bill, why was the laboratory work removed if it was supposedly performed as they so vehemently claimed, and asked why they were now billing it to my insurance, and they didn't the first time around. Called my insurance, had them dispute it. Faxed my insurance the bills, highlighting the differences and explained what happened that day. Broward General sold it to Progressive. They called me, I explained the situation and told them my insurance company considers it fraud, where would you like me to fax the paper work from my insurance company?

They never contacted me again.

I responded the phone at my grandmother's and it turned right into a bill collector. the female become unusually hateful. I advised her my grandmother become ill and can want to no longer answer the phone and the female went ballistic. She stated she become turning the account over to the fraud branch and that i might want to be listening to from the police the subsequent day. It scared me to lack of existence. We not in any respect heard from the police branch and this befell various years in the past.
