I'm fairly certain this is gastric reflux. Key notes: common after you eat greasy food, it happens after you've been laying down. This isn't serious unless you let it go untreated. Then you'll be at high risk for an ulcer. You can use over-the-counter medication or visit a gastroenterologist or ENT (ear, nose, throat) physician and let them prescribe what is appropriate for you. Also, wait up to two hours before going to bed after eating. This will allow digestion to get further along in its process and, therefore, you won't have enough in your stomach for it to reflux.

Oh, the greasy food right before bed could do it. Why are you eating SO MUCH greasy food before bed? It would have to be a lot in order for you to vomit through your nose in the night. Could also have something to do with your gallbladder. If it's not working properly (it may be full of stones) then your body cannot process fried or greasy food. That would make you vomit.

i get the same after eating greasy foods and going to sleep.
sounds like you have heartburn.
does it burn the insides of your throat and nose and mouth??
few things u can do
Iprop my self up with pillows and sleep sitting up.
gravity helps the acids to stay in your stomach.
also it helps to have an antacid near, i recommend pepto-bismal its the fastest relief for this i also use milk of magnesia, pepcid ac complete or tums(dont get the regular pepcid ac its not made to give immediate releif)
I also if i have nothing to give relief eat something to help wash away the acid burning my throat and nose. Salty nuts work(peanuts, ect)
chew or drink the ant acid hold it in your mouth and gargle with it. this helps to balance the levels of acid and make it bearable or safe.
if this recurrs often see a doctor because it can lead to a hernia or ulcer.
also antacids are not good for you either. too much could damage you in other ways. so dont get to reliant on them. find ways to alter your diet to control this problem.

Are you sure you were vomiting? Sounds to me like it's a postnasal drip, allergy, etc.
