My mother in law is trying to find a way to treat static hair during the winter. Anyone have any tricks to prevent or treat static hair?

Use a dryer sheet. It may take a few if her hair is thick. Make sure she combs her hair before she rubs the dryer sheet down her hair. If she combs your hair after you did the dryer sheet thing then it will frizz up again.

After you hair has dried take a small amout (about a pea size) of conditioner and smooth it over your hair...start at the bottom so you don't get a lot of it up by your scalp

A final rinse with cold water after washing helps,as does a drop or two of anti frizz serum/lotion.
