alright people out there who made fun of the spelling and grammer: this is not my spelling or grammer-thank god. My friend was using my account and i would like to apologize for any inconvenience in reading this question. Also, i tend to solve such problems without seeking help on websites. i repeat this is not my question. ouch

Waiting until the last minute is not the way to study, neither is staying up all night (your brain will be too tired the next day).....instead, at the end of the school day, rewrite and look over your notes and read your textbooks. Take 10-15 minute breaks to give your brain a rest, and then continue to read or study. Flashcards are another way of learning information fast. If it is still hard to learn the material, seek tutoring.... Good luck!

Your grammar sucks. You can not spell. So i would look for after school help and study a lot harder. You need to start from the bottom and work your way up. Unless you learn how to write proper english your grades are not going to improve even if you study all night. You should start by analizing the way you study, do you study with music or the tv on? what time do you study at? do you do your homework and take notes in class? I know some websites offer studying tips. I remember that sometimes I would try to study with the tv on that does not work because it is a big distraction. You should also speak with your counselor and see if you are up to par with the courses you're taking you might have learning difficulties and not know it.

I think you have really answered your own question. You know you need to study more to get the A's, but say you can't seem to study.

And "wasting time" seems to also be an issue you already know is happening.

So consider making a schedule you can stick to....and allow yourself some fun time in there because you will be more likely to study well when you don't have to do it all the time. Reward yourself with some fun after a study session.

Also develop some good study habits...ways to memorize the answers...there are good study "methods" that help get the grades. Ask for some tip from an older college student...someone you know does well at school.

And pay attention to what the teacher wants. Every teacher is different and gives tests and grades in their own way. Learn to pay attention to what these are....then it will help you know what to study. For example...some teachers stick right to their lectures...some look for teeny details NOT in the lectures...you have to know what to study and memorize to do well.

Give your studying some priority time....tape the lectures...?...etc.
