I know there is also a big train station in Santa Ana, CA next to Tustin where I live. I don't have the slightest clue on the closest stations in Yucapai or the routes.

yes you can take a metrolink train from Santa Ana to
San Bernandino station
then from the station you can take
a Omintrans 1,3 or 90 (you can use your metrolink ticket for this part) lines to the 4th street transfer center
where you would have to change to Omtrains line 8 or 9
(both buses will take you to Yucapipa) you will have to pay cash
fare of $1.25 or you could get a day pass for $3.00 (which you can
aslo get from the first Omnitrans bus at the metrolink station)

the departures for Metrolink for though trains dept
Santa Ana at 9:30am, 4:29pm
there are other trains but they terminate in Riverside where
you can take a Omtrains 90 bus to San Bernadino transit center
then as above
